Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 21.00, Walter Savelli will perform in concert at the Teatro Nuovo in Vicenza (Viale Mazzini, 39 Vicenza - Single seat: € 20.00 ) for the first of a series of concerts featuring the pianist who see Florence.
After 25 years with Claudio Baglioni as a musician and collaborator ( Savelli is one of the 70 guest artists in the same colossal QPGA Baglioni among the first places in the charts ) after more than 100,000 copies sold of His teaching methods for modern music and having been in league with its EP for sale on iTunes Europe www.itunes.com (the first independent artist in Italy to have signed a contract with Apple), Walter Savelli is finally a show in conjunction with all her. "Music and words" : a journey through a musical experience that starts in the 70's and continues growing to this day, projected into a future full of live events and new work study.
Walter Savelli : his piano, his compositions, his stories. A life on stages as varied from small clubs to stadiums with 100,000 people passing through the ownership of television history ( just mention among all My Soul and The Last Waltz with Baglioni and Fazio ).
Over 30 years of stage , most of which are adjacent to one of the greatest Italian artists, with whom he wrote a significant part of the evolution of Italian pop music.
"I am proud to say - says Walter Savelli - that my compositions are real "songs" as such harmonic / melodic and in their formal structure: my music, therefore, is aimed at any audience. The difference rather lies in the particular way in which these songs are played, and piano in the arrangement that goes back to a form that could vaguely be called a "pseudo execution / classical." The audience then simply attend a concert of modern piano, pop in the truest sense of the term during which will play most of my songs (and others) contained in my album on sale on ITUNES and entertain the audience anecdotes and gags of the past 35 years of stage and backstage, many of whom lived alongside Claudio Baglioni.
